摘要： “传记”介于“杂史”和“小说”之间，与“小说”更为接近，本文梳理了宋以降历代公私书目著录中“小说”与“传记”的混杂现象以及部分“小说”与“传记”作品相互羼杂的情况。分析了“小说”与“传记”在文类性质、编撰方式、取材范围上的诸多相通之处，同时，探讨了“小说”与“传记”文类在功用价值定位和题材取向、叙事方式等方面的畛域区分。

Abstract: Biography as a literary genre comes between unofficial history and fiction, although closer to fiction. This paper examines the hybridization between fiction and biography with examples from the public and private catalogues since the Song Dynasty, and it analyzes the common ground between the two genres in terms of generic features, compilation approaches, and raw materials and investigates the boundaries of the genres in terms of functional value, thematic appeal and narrative approaches.
