(2)“大学语文”分狭义与广义,狭义的“大学语文”专指上世纪70年代末80年代初中国大陆高校重开这门课程时定的名称;广义“大学语文”指一百多年来这门课程所经历的清末民初大学预科国文、民国大一国文、大陆高校重开这门课程等各个阶段,同时也应该包括港台大一国文。本文使用“大学语文”一词,即取其广义。 (3)京师大学堂教授林传甲编写的优级师范科国文教材,本属大学预科国文教材(优级师范科与大学预科同级),然而多年来常被误认为是中国文学史教材,其原因除了该教材采用文科大学“中国文学研究法”内容外,封面设计也是一个原因:其用小号字标识“京师大学堂国文讲义”,用大号字标识“中国文学史”,更增加了被误读的概率。
