Abstract: David Harvey is one of the important figures who mingle traditions in geographic research and Marxism in the "spatial turn." His idea of space is developed in the three dimensions of ontology, modernity and art. In the dimension of art, his criticism practice of French literature centered on Paris opens a new horizon for spatial criticism of literary and cultural studies, and it also builds a new platform for realistic critical Marxist literary theory.
