“后民族国家”时代的华人文化研究——话语政治与理论转型

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 在后学理论的影响下，华人文化研究领域出现了抵制或超越民族国家政治影响的趋势。本文旨在梳理该领域三种主要理论的渊源和关系，并阐明它们各自的意识形态特征和历史局限。本文进而指出，由于海外华人跟中国近现代政治现实的特殊关系，华裔流散文化研究不能照搬当代西方“后民族国家”理论中的研究模式。

Abstract: Under the impact of post-theories, Chinese diasporic culture studies has exhibited a tendency to resist or transcend the political domination of the nation-state. This essay examines the sources of and the relationships between three major theories in this field, seeking to clarify their ideological orientations as well as historical limitations. The paper concludes that the connection between the Chinese diaspora and the sociopolitical process of modern China necessitates a methodologically critical application of Western formulations of post-nationalist theories into Chinese diasporic culture studies.
